A man calling from this number identified himself as Officer David Brown and stated that if I do not return his call immediately I will face the legal consequences of my actions.
guy called saying he was with the police and he was going to file an arrest warrant against me, no reason, didn't say what police force, uust his name, jason clark, which i'm sure isn't his real name. the number he left is a texas number and i dont live in texas nor have i been there for a very, very long time.
My son had the same experience last and he has never been to Texas. The man gave his name as David. He had all of my son’s personal and financial information. They called the police and an officer came to their home and talked to the man on the phone. This crazed man basically ignored the officer. My son and his wife recently purchased a home and we feel that his information must have been obtained through one of the lending companies. There is currently investigation underway.
I had recieved a phone call similar to t and l from the same number the crazy man basically stated that his name was officer david brown and that he was going to have a warrant out for my arrest. He also stated that he has all of my personal and financial information. He stated that an officer jason clark was going to come to my house if i didnt pay them a certain amount of money
A man with middle eastern assent whom identified himself as "Joshua Phillips" from an office in which he contradicted himself on during seperate conversations through out the day; "David Harisson Legal Services" & "Offices of Joshua Phillips" contacted me today with the phone # referenced above. during initial contact he negatively identitied me with last 4 digits of a SS#. Without further efforts to confirm my identity He boldly claimed the following.
I acquired a money loan through a loan website; "America Cash Advance" in year of 2009 & did not pay it back. (NEVER HAPPENED!)
I have 3 criminal charges against me, 1 of them is "Theft by deception" ([***]!)
A warrant will be issued for my arrest. (FOR NOT PAYING BACK A LOAN?)
I have to go to court tomorrow to face the charges. (THE LEGAL PROCESS IS REALLY THAT FAST? WOW!)
I cant pay it back now. Only after I go to see a judge. (WTF DID HE CALL ME FOR THEN?)
Note: IF A WARRANT IS ISSUED OUT FOR YOUR ARREST YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION IN WRITTEN FORM OR YOU WILL FIND OUT FROM A CURIOUS POLICE OFFICER. NOT FROM A NUT BALL WHOM CALLS YOU FROM A DIFFERENT STATE CLAIMING THAT YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING DEBT OF SOME KIND.
I just had the exact same experience with that number and I also had this experience two years ago in which I spoke to the representative. I did not call the number back this time due to my previous experience. I have referred this number to the Virginia FBI.
