Called home line and harassed. Tried to collect money for the government for not filing some tax form. does not want you to hang up the phone. Harassing by saying,if you do not pay that he will send cops and gave me arrested.
Voicemail was left on home ph. Message was left this morning from 281-747-1052 - Karen Brown Federal Crime division stated that my name was reported and its a criminal investigation and that I can be arrested in the next 45mins. There are criminal allagations against me and that if i do not call back I will get arrested with in 45mins.When i call back i get a voice mail and it says to leave a message. When i try to leave message it vm tells me its full that can not.
Voice message from this number 281-747-1052 - Person by name Thomas o Brain saying I can be prosecuted and asked me to call the above said no. After I called the guy threatened me that he will prosecute and can be arrest if I don't pay the Taxes and he made us drive to the bank. Before going to the Bank I just spoke to few of my colleagues and came to know that it is a scam. I also called IRS and found out that we don't owe any taxes and IRS told to file a complaint to Treasury Inspector General. In case if you get such calls from any of these guys. Be aware. This is a PURE SCAM going around.
so they go by different names and numbers...thomas o brain or John Adams...
also they can FAKE the call from many legitimate numbers like DPS or Lawyers officee ...story is exactly the same..the will randomly blabber some IRS forms..most of those forms do not exsist..this a BIG SCAM..pls be aware...mostly going around in the Texas area
