This the classic Money Mule Scam - send counterfeit checks - get you to cash them and send MOST of it to someone else - Guess what - you just sent them YOUR OWN MONEY!
Wish I saw all the postings on this number and another number I made them give me. His name is Brent (H.R.) works for Micro System Technologies. I applied for job through indeed.com making 19.75 hour. He has foreign accent and all emails there were misspellings. He constantly called making sure I was doing the "trust" jobs and would not give me time to reply to emails before he was calling again. Sent me money....take some for me, use some to buy software, and the rest send to a Jesse Hayes in NJ so he can send me technology to work at home. Then next day they sent another check, same amount...take some for me, use some to buy acctg textbook, send rest to another name in SC through western union. After I received the second set of instructions I really began to get nervous. I demanded a address and investigated and found nothing but negative things on it and the phone number given 315-307-4568. If everyone all over the US who has been affected by this will get in touch with their local government and report all the info they have. Maybe something can be done, who knows.
My daughter just got scammed by this sleeze ball...Modeling agency this time. Sent her a check for $2900 told her to keep $400 and send the rest for outfits and then she would get another $600 after the shoot! I wish that she would have asked me about this before she did it, but thought we would be impressed that she did all this on her own.....Well, now her acct is overdrawn $2500! Expensive lesson!!!

Atlas Software Inc. which is a company I googled them. name in e-mail was David Lynch I have not received check as of yet should receive today said to deposit in my account wait 24 hours take out 300 for myself buy 100 peachtree software and Western Union the rest to NAME: Lidia Veliz
