You shouldn't feel embarrassed because you don't owe them anything. I have ignored it and they haven't called back in a week but if they do I am going to give them a piece of my mind.
Oh my god he was so rude I actually googled Morgan Associates and they are a real lawyer but only do big businesses and are very angry about them using their name they told me they were going to investigate this as i was the 3 rd person to call them about this and they actually looked up in the bar association in Texas ans there is not such person
I recieved a call from Shawn Woods from Morgan and Assoc. about US Cash Advance I owe. Said i was being sued and if found guilty would owe over $10,000.00 but I could settle today for $835.00. I do not have a loan with Cash Advance. He stated I could get jail time and have to pay fines as well. Left a message on my voice mail saying his name was John Smith and either my attorny or I had better call back right away if not he wished me luck good luck as the situation unfolds on me. When I called back he said his name was Shawn Woods but same voice. I reported to my local police but they stated they do not investigate these cases.
Got a call from them today, so glad I saw this before doing anything...they said they were going to report me to the VA law and [***]...plllleeeeaassseeeee
I received a call on my cell phone and work phone from this number. Person said his name was Justin and I need to call immediately with my attorney's information. Meanwhile he did not say what it was in reference to or the company name he was calling from. Heavy indian accent. Very hard to understand and got upset with me when I asked him to e-mail me detailed information regarding the claim. Did not and would not tell me his company name but would only tell me he was an attorney. He told me if I paid the amount he claims that I owed him over the phone now, the case would be dropped. Suspicious call.
