Who called from 2818243280

Called about a dinner reservation for a restaurant nearby that I had not known about 'til she called.

Claimed to be from a Vacation Rental company, declined to ask name.

Found location of phonecall to be frome Alvin, Texas.  Weird place to call from for a place here. I was 4 states away from her location

Someone has called twice from this number in the last 5 days.  They don't even wait for the answering machine.

Caller ID just says Texas.

THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING

Total scam. I live in CT and they said calling from Texas when I asked. Said I had free dinner for 2 and reservations and dinner reserved in my name at a popular pizza/Italian restaurant. I happen to know owners who knew NOTHING ABOUT a Texas company doing a promotion. They are contacting consumer protection agency and atty general. Suspect they are tring to get personal info.
