This person poses as a military officer on his final assignment in Texas before retiring. He claims that he wants to begin a dating relationship and gathers numbers on dating sites. Moving the romance along, he says that he wants to talk to you on the phone but the only way to do so is to "register" for a phone that is programmed only to call your number, with a fee of $200 to set up. This is BS. The Army does NOT restrict soldiers from calling loved ones, nor do they charge for special phones. Alternate scam: will ask for $ to request leave to come meet you. Military leave cannot be "bought." Google it.
