"My name is Sandy Luis my birthday is coming up on the 18th of October i will like to book a DJ for my birthday please let me know if you will be available for the DJ Service and did you accept credit card payment?"
I luckily looked up the number because it was not an area code I work in. Scam avoided. Thanks to OldEnough2KnowBetter!

This is a similar message as seen here: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-224-855-1202
I'm warning others in the Entertainment Industry to be on the lookout for this Credit Card scam, especially if you are based nowhere near that phone number's location!
Small DJ company in NE IL. Our only advertising is a Dex Yellow Pages listing. I received the same text, Oct 16, except the date of the party was given as Nov. 1. My thanks to OldEnough2KnowBetter & the others here who have reported this. A friend of mine in NW Indiana said he & a mutual friend in the industry have both received similar texts. He replied to the sender, saying that he did not take credit cards, and did not hear back.
