Texas landline. Recorded message stating this is chase and you have lost your MasterCard. Well if i lost my credit card i would know and i dont have a MasterCard through chase. I called the number back and got static. This is obviously a scam. Dont give them any personal information.
I just received an automated call om my cell phone stating my Mastercard was cancelled and needed to enter my SSN to reacitve. I immediatley hung up and called the number on the back of my card and confirmed my suspicion that it was fraudulent.. I then went to a land line and called the number - only static.
We're in Canada. We don't even have any of these Chase banks!
We received a phonecall in the middle of the night (2:33 AM). By the time I'd groggily reached the phone, they'd hung up. Did this reverse phone look-up this morning and read these comments. Astonishing!
Same thing here in Canada, they called me 1:35am at night. I didn't answer. Glad I read these comments.
I do have a Sears card with Chase, but it's safe and sound in my wallet.
