This number called several times without leaving a message. Upon returning the call they said that we were part of a lawsuit. Sounds like this group needs the law to make a welcome knock on the door.
Received several calls from this number... 1st 2 they left no message, the 3rd time they let my voicemail pick up but never said anything, however I could hear people in background talking & making calls. I then tried calling back & after 2 rings an automated voice said "the magic jack customer you're calling is unable to answer at this time" & I was disconnected, I immediately called back & reached an automated voicemail & left a message with my number but no name wanting to know who this is & why they're calling, finally they called back & I answered, this time it was a woman with an eastern(India) accent named "Rachel" she knew I had called & was just letting me know "you're loan has been approved for $6,000.00" but when I said I hadn't applied for a loan she stated "this call is for Matt ******** & I am looking at your loan request now" so I asked if she could send me a coppy of my loan application? To which she replied "yes I just need your mailing address" I told her if I applied they should already have it & I am going to be calling the police to notify them of this call so I need her full name & company name! She then hung up on me & now when u call the number says "this magic jack customer can not accept incoming calls from your phone number please try again if you feel you've reached this message by mistake"
I got a call from this number and the Guy said he was Jeff Martin a senior offcer from crime investigation unit with the IRS....he stated that he was reading me an afidavid an I would be arrested shortly. He continued to say that was being charged with various federal crimes that I was clueless about. I called all the local law enforcement in my town and there is no arrest warrant on file for me at all. Nor have i received any audit info from the IRS. This is apart of the IRS fake call, they are scammers. Adn report is available on abc.com channel 7 news.
