I just got called from 281-954-0314 with the same messages as above and tells me to call back to 844-261-6419. I've been getting calls like this very often now with different numbers - I just keep blocking them.
Lamar Casey said he was from ARP Incorporated and was investigating a criminal case for fraud and debt by dispute in the county that I live in. I knew this was a scam to collect a debt from my past. But I called the criminal court county clerks just to verify and I was right there has never been any criminal charges against me, they are just trying to scare who they think might be uneducated individuals into paying them something. Only detectives will call about criminal charges. Not debt collectors. They cannot even press charges of a debt EVER. This is fraud. Report them.
I RECEIVED A CALL SAYING I WAS A PERSON OF INTEREST IN A CRIMINAL CASE AND I SHOULD CALL THEM BACK OR PRESS 1 FOR AN AGENT. I JUST HUNG UP THE LINE AND RESERACHED THE NUMBER AND THANKS TO AMANDA FOR CONFIRMING MY SUSPICIONS....
