So I got 3 missed calls from this number so I called it back, just being curious, then this guy name Fred answered and he said the creepiest thing. He was like is this [name here]? so I just hung up since I was freaked out, and really weird.... I don't understand how he knew my name but.... I don't know...
They have records of your information tied to your number, like caller ID but with your info. So when you call, your info pops up on their screen. They expect people to want to call back
This number (301-944-0468) has now begun calling me. A point for everyone to ponder, is that I had just recently had my Facebook identity "deleted" (so to say?), but then was merely forced to go back to Facebook, to identify myself, in order to view something which had no personal relations to my identity - some medical research, I was doing for a friend, at that. While such medical research should be kept confidential (should it not?), I re-opened my Facebook account, which I didn't want to have, in order to view this informational video. Is Facebook behind this, directly, or indirectly? Otherwise, I've also begun getting "wrong numbers", asking for an "Eric", which does not exist at my number -which I've had for years, now! By the way, as I said hello, a couple of times, a double-beep/screech sound came, and the line went dead; so I don't know who was calling about what; which is why I checked on its identity - as it might have been important, but appears not to be.
