this ph number left a message this a.m. on my cell ph. v.m. saying they were trying to collect a debt. i don't know whom i would owe for a collection.then said to go to this web site and input a list of numbers. This seemed very odd.
I received a call this morning from this number. I was skeptical after reading these postings but after speaking with a person i realized that this number and company are legit. It is a collection agency,, however they were very polite and helpful. It seems my insurance agent turned a collection in for rental insurance i was unaware i had paid for. which of course i didn't. The two gentleman i spoke to were very helpful. Maybe you should speak with someone and find out if you have a forgotten or mistaken collection. They are very polite and willing to help if they can.
It is CCS and they are a debt collection company. I'm on the phone with them now. I cancelled my car insurance with AllState prior to the end of the 6 months and I am being charged an early cancellation fee of $186. Suposedly. They handle things poorly and they need to learn how to run a business better. I don't mind paying for something I did wrong, but you have to show me in writing what it is and can't expect me to pay for something just cause you say so.
