don't use subject pronouns - especially in first sentence. don't like proper grammar. wish was more accomodating. calls me a lot. different numbers. might be not ADA. collection agency. annoying. serendipity. caller id helps a lot. turned-off answer machine. internet search. fax machine on. little dog. turned-off ringer in bedroom. best action take.
Well, seriously, our home phone has been inundated with calls from about five or six of these different numbers that appear to be from ‘ADA,’ – presumably, the American Diabetes Association.
Some folks here have suspected that some of these calls could be from ‘fake debt collectors.’ That could be…, since I’ve had a fake debt scam trying to contact me for the past year.
We feel bad that they’re probably getting real frustrated, by now, since we never do answer their ring – and sometimes all they get is the fax handshake.
We had to abandon two other organizations that we would love to support financially if only they would not hire a telemarketer company to call us on the phone, asking for more money.
It’s sad to be thwarted on a good cause by greedy organizations.
