301-223-0800 has become my enemy. They call my son's prepaid cellphone and have been told numerous times over the last 3 months that the person they are calling - Valero Campo - does not live here nor do we know who that is! We have asked nicely and not so nicely that they stop calling and we have been assured they have removed the cellphone number but they called again today. I spoke to Debbie@Xcel's customer service# 1-800-895-4999 and she contacted the 301-223-0080 number and was assured by "Kim" that they ARE Xcel and that they have removed our cellphone number. It was claimed that the call is a courtesy call to remind deadbeats to pay their overdue bill. Our family doesn't have any overdue debts and they need to STOP CALLING! If they call again after I have assured it would stop (like I was told today and last week), I will make further posts here and elsewhere. Xcel's customer service rep (Debbie) wasn't too confident that this call center was part of Xcel but has assured me if they call us again we can contact her and she will see what can be done to stop the calling.
