Pre-record call to line on DNC about health insurance. Pressed '1' and got "Sam" from the "Enrollment Center". He talked a little bit, and then just hung up. I didn't ask about real business name, web site, or really anything. Pretty weak, actually. Can't scam people if you're not even going to put any effort into it.
Got a call from this number... Didn't answer and they left no message. I suspect spam or scam... Calls from unused numbers (don't always believe what you see in the CID) can be hacked and CID info set to anything they want.... If call is not recognized by my contact list, I let it go to phone mail... If it's important, they'll leave a message... If they claim to be IRS, Microsoft, Google, you won / you inherited money or any type of legal threat... It's a scam... If any of these is really true, they'll contact you by snail mail.
