rec'd several call from this number 301-276, after the 4th or 5th call the caller said they were from microsoft and our computer was sendin several error messages and want to help repair it. Told them I did not own a computer and they hung up
I rec'd call from this #. No one on other end. I also got call from girl saying she was microsoft approved & wanted to fix some errors on my computer. I have no errors & this is indeed a scam.
Received a call, said they were calling from Microsoft and my computer has a russian virus. I told them none of my computers are registered to the phone number they called. SCAM!!!
A man said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending error reports. I told him if he calls again I would cut off his balls and shove them down his throat :)
Just got the same call ... but I never got as far as you did ... because after they told me who they where I said "what the @#@~ are you doing calling me on this number? This call will be reported because no one has this number!" They hung up and I now have this SHORT number blocked!
