This call came to my husband's cell phone and we did not answer it and we knew that it had to be a scam. Not alot of people know my husband's cell phone number. Recorded message was about lower interest rates. We have several cards but never are concerned about interest rates as be always pay our balance off when we get the bill. So we are never charged interest.
Just received a call from this number (on my cell phone) and they said it was about decreasing the interest rate on a credit card and to press 1 to talk to a service person. I pressed 1 and the first statement from the person was about owing more than $3,000 on the card (never said what card) and when I said I didn't owe that much on any card he hung up.
