Who owns this phone number?

They called at 7pm, CID read "Western Wats".  I googled the name and found out that Western Wats is now SSI.  They have called before as SSI under the phone number (432) 363-5345.  Be aware that they will call you under both names using different numbers.  I doubt they would be doing that if they were a legitimate survey company.  I'll continue to block.

SSI is Survey Sampling International and there are many phone numbers they use, and thus many complaints on 800notes about them.

They try to make it sound like they are doing this out of the goodness of their corporate hearts (and the corporate hearts of the unidentified corporations that pay them to be so nosy), but federal law requires businesses like theirs to have their own internal Do Not Call list.
They just don't want to say that, or use the phrase "internal do not call list".
