Just got a call I let go to VM from 301-298-8083. Didn't get all the message but it was some robo voice saying I must call the same number Len C mentioned; 408-819-9455 before charges are filed against me.
I live in NJ and just received the same recorded message about an "enforcement action" against my name. The funny part of the message urged me to call back "before I get arrested". It also used the term "magistrate" as in "brought before a magistrate".
What annoys me most is that my 82 year old mother would call back if she got this message!
This # 301 298 8083 called and said the call was about an enforcement action being brought against me by the US Treasury. It involved tax fraud and Federal Criminal offenses. If I didn't call this # back I would be arrested. This is a huge scam!!! The US Gov. dose not call & leave you a threatening message. Please don't fall for this.
