I received an unidentified call from 301-304-7219. After I answered my phone the caller said he was calling from NATIONAL DISABILTY and asked how I was. I said I was tired. I am on the Federal Do Not Call Registry, so I wanted to get some information.
The man said he wanted to ask me a few questions and became rude after my first response. They must get paid on call volume. I answered 2 more questions, which I planned to cut short, when he said, "Hold on while I check to see if you qualify." I wasn't happy and began to do some things on my laptop with lovely hold music playing when I realized I had been on hold too long - 10 minutes, in fact.
I hung up, called back, and a recording said they already talked to me and I don't qualify. It began to ring again and a recording said to talk to an agent press 1, to be removed from their list press 2. I hung up. I know that pressing 2 confirms your phone number, which they then sell.
I'm going to file a complaint with the FCC. They're going to shut these folks down. Such a pain!
