they call me often as well, although i never pick up. i called back and always get 'your call cannot be completed as dialed'. has anyone picked this call up yet? something needs to be done about this situation.
I have had many calls from this number to my cell phone (over 25). I have only given my number to the SF chronicle over the past 30 days. Never anyone on other end, this is harassment and can't be legal, I am on the "do not call list"! The only thing I can tell you that in Cal. Pac West Telecomm is the provider. This number is tied into some "spoofing" BS. If anyone has any more info please post it, I would like to see this autodialer shut down!
10 calls in two weeks. When I answer, there is never anyone there. I have called them up and it states "you have reached our Customer Service Department, please enter your number to get off our call list"
I have been getting calls from this number for the past two weeks. They never lease a message, but I was finally around to answer it today. They were calling because I recently subscribed to the local newspaper. They wanted to see if I had already paid for the paper, because if I hadn't I could pay with a credit card over the phone. It sounded really fishy, I'm going to contact the paper to see if this was really a call on their behalf.
