Called and wanted to conduct an on scene survey of power use, claimed they could save me money. When I called Delmarva Power, they knew only that someone was making these calls. Delmarva were not associated with the company, which was never named.
The caller said they were calling on behalf of Pepco and a technician would come into my house to wrap my water heater and install energy saving lightbulbs to save me 10-15%.
