"Gary" called, said he was calling about our electricity bill and noticed we hadn't enrolled in the rate reduction savings plan that had been mailed with our last electric bill. (We don't get a bill, electricity is part of our contract with the building). Ordered me to "grab" my latest bill and he would apply the savings on the spot. Told him okay and put him on speaker. He asked about a minute later if I had the bill yet and I said "no". Said he would wait so I but him on hold and he hung out there for another minute or two then disconnected.
HAVE had calls from this number before-
ring once answer -disconnect.
I've done the same to them after the second or third call-maybe this is retribution. What company would call and then disonect? These intermediaries are popping up to prevent monopolies-but it puts another layer in between you and a responsible person when facing a problem. Who to call?-who is responsible for what?
