called today, first, started out like he knew me and I asked who? then started talking and would not shut up, I asked three times what he wanted... kept talking fast like he was reading it... would NOT stop.. hung up.... have a list of such numbers from idiots... IRS frauds, sales people, whoever... just start talking and never shut up, am on DO NOT CALL LIST, does not stop all
The CID said Name Unavailable. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. If it is a window replacement company, I assume my contact info was sold to the company from the one who did our windows years ago. Or maybe it's the same company.
I received my 1st call from them this morning (Wed). I was in a mall Sunday and Remodel USA had a booth set up for a "drawing" to win $15,000 towards a home project. I knew this was just a ploy to get your info and my son was insistent that I do this, so I did so as not to embarrass him. Just wanted to let you all know to expect calls when you put your name in a box to win a car, timeshare, home improvements. These are all sales promotions and it is NOT a giveaway. Don't complain if you do this and start getting calls. The do not call list does not apply when you willingly provide your contact info!
I tried to "win" a car once and then I suddenly won a trip to Massanutten! Whoopie...all I had to do is put money down to hold my hotel spot and listen to a timeshare speech...btw w/ major credit card hmmm...
I have them on auto reject....they call all the time. Once I may have been "butt dialed!" Due to hearing a man having a conversation on another phone wanting credit for the call. Don't know why they repeat calling the same numbers. Maybe they are really idiotic as the man sounded.
