Caller ID said "Poolesville, md." I've been to Poolesville, the westernmost one horse "town" in Montgomery County Md., and there is a couple of schools, a bank, a small city government office, and a 7-eleven - period. This robocall told me that, thanks to Marriott, some other Major corporate "sponsor", Carnival Cruise Lines, etc., I have been "selected" to receive a "free Carribean cruise", and I should press 1 to learn more, or press 9 to be "removed from their list" (yeah, riiiiiight). To which I replied "Press 0 to go f**k yourself", and hung up. Anyone who falls for this tired old scam deserves whatever they get. This isn't worthy of any further discussion.
Another call, allegedly from "Poolesville, Md." This time caller ID said 301 349 - 9055 (obviously the same scammers as 301 349 9031) . Another illegal, fully robocall. This one is hustling "free solar" which is "guaranteed to reduce your electric bill by 50%". (and lighten your wallet by a lot more!) I said goodbye to the robot, and hung up halfway thru the call. No further discussion necessary. See ya around the campfire.
