I've received three threatening calls this week from 301-358-0338. I know it's a scam so I just hang up on them and save their threatening calls back to me. I have reported the calls to the DEA and hope the %$#@s get caught. Apparently they are getting up to twenty years in prison for the crime, so turn them in! Save your voicemails and call the DEA. Relax, it's only a scam.
i keep getting a call from a man named Dennis Whitehead who says he works for the FBI and gives a badge # N79519 with a case number NCIC # W516894237 and says i have purchased illegal drugs on line. i have no clue who this person is and this number cannot be identified. When i tell him i dont know what he is talking about and who in the right mind would be illegal drugs on line or over the phone... I am sick of this CRAP!!! they keep calling my Cell phone. Now when he calls he says if i dont let him finish i will be arrested. So i told this MOFO to come and find me. Went to my Police department and they ran my name and id and their is nothing.. this is total harrassment.. the police department says just to ignore it!! Really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They're a bunch of scam artists calling from the DR using magic jack numbers (which explains the bad connection) and the local area code. They pretend to be "DEA" or "FBI" agents. Some could barely speak english. Just ignore it or change your number.
It's a scam from the Dominican Republic trying to intimidate you to get you to pay a "fine." I've had three calls this month. I have also called the DEA and complained. You should do the same. Don't let it worry you, Just don't play around with them and hang up on the jerks! They will stop, but the activity has picked up on this scam. They have bothered me sporadically for three years.
Says he's calling from Dominican Republic, I have an arrest warrant and they have a subpoena to search my house. Says I bought illegal drugs and it was confiscated and now they want a statement from me. Yes, I know it's a scam, I just wanted to hear what they would say. The original message was from someone with a heavy foreign accent but when I called back, Michael Haag spoke perfect interest and says they just want a statement from me.
They first called a few days ago but never followed up on my "arrest warrant" until I called back and gave a fake name. Even the fake name has an arrest warrant. Hmmm, lucky me to pick a fake name that already has an arrest warrant. Jerks!
