id as protocall again. I read some of the earlier posts and it seems there are several of these scam energy companies involved. And billing set-up off shore. Bad news. They will drain your account on the very first
transaction.
Caller ID says Protocall Communications. I have no idea if this is real because there was no one there when I answered one time in the past. They have called my office every weekday, and often 2-3 times a day since January. I'm starting to get really pissed off. If you call the number back it says it's a call center in MD and that you can be put on the do not call list. How bad does your telemarketing scheme have to be that you have a prerecorded message about a do not call list?
id as protocall c... no message but it seems another energy supplier calling for business. If it's not solar, cheap
elec or gas or whatever they are calling for. These small energy companies offer just billing from what I can
determine, but no services when you run in to trouble.

Them (fifth time calling me TODAY): "We are confirming an appointment for Monday"
Me: "I didn't make one. Please take me off your list."
Them: "We don't have a list, this is a benefit for you sir!"
Me: "I'm happy, I don't want anything. I'm not interested."
Them: "Let me explain why you should be interested!"
Me: "I'm even more not interested"
Them "Let me tell you about the lower rates you could be getting!"
Me: "No, not interested."
..........
...... (said not interested 10 more times)
.......
Then the woman started raising her voice at me like it was my fault, so I gave an empty threat and told her I'd pursue legal action if I was ever contacted again, and she hung up.
