Same person contacted me for an item on Craigslist. Glad in looked him up.

I am so glad I googled this phone number! Same situation with furniture I was selling on craigslist!

I didn't even have furniture for sale. He asked if I would take a cashiers check for my furniture. I had to go back and look at my ad to see what I posted. Ihad posted chair covers like I thought. He's not only a scam artist he's a bad one!!

I received a nearly identical text from an email address regarding furniture on Craigslist. The email addy was [email protected]
Txt body said the same as given above. The supposed interested party gave the same 301 phone number. There seem to be more scams for furniture on CL than buyers. Thank you all for posting your info confirming my own doubts. Scam! Stay away!

Came from 1 number and then replied to text from this number.
