The check will bounce. The check clearing and the bank making the money available are two completely different things. They will ask you to go to Western Union, or Moneygram, or buy some sort of card. Once you do that they have the money and the check bounces. Then you are out the money, the bank fees, and if the check is large enough you may also face criminal charges as well.
773-234-0165 this is another phone number from Farris C. Andrew. He is asking me to watch his son and is sending me a check for some electronics he purchases and needs me to pay for them. He is sending a check to me also> I will not cash it!!!!!
Yes it's definitely a scammer. Now using apps like let go, offer up n wish to try n scam you!! If he contacts you report his account to the fraud department!!
