If you have an iphone you can click on the "information" logo, scroll down and block the number or you can have them save you thousands of dollars in credit card expenses!!!!!
I received a call on 11/22/2014 at about 11:30 AM CST. The automated message said that they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. If I wanted to speak with a rep, press 1. If I wanted to decline, press 2. I did press one, out of curiosity. The rep proceeded to ask me about my credit card that had a balance of 3500 or more. I asked which card company they were calling for and they responded chase bank. I do in fact have a chase account, but it does NOT have that much of a balance. The rep then asked me for my full credit card number. Of course I was not going to give this out over the phone without known exactly who I was talking with. Because I did not feel comfortable with this the rep transferred me to his manager. The manager was not able to give me more information either. As I was informing the manager that I did not feel comfortable with this transaction, he hung up! I am almost positive this is a scam!
