I receive at least 1 call from them DAILY. I don't even bother to answer it anymore. Never leaves a voicemail And the times that I answer the call gets disconnected as soon as I answer. Seem to be an automated marketing call just to verify the numbers that are in service.

This company called US Savings Center called and the representative called me a '[***]' and then told me they are trying to sell 'dildoes'.

The called asked for Mr or Mrs, I asked who was calling and he said US Savings, I thought it was probablyh for my husband,  well evidently he told my husband that his vehicle was out of warranty and wanted to sell him warranty insurance but didn't know what kind of car he was driving or anything.  My husband was talking to him because he thought he was on the up and up, he told him to call back in a couple of days after he checked with his dealer as to how much warrantee he had left.  UGH

US Savings - an automobile warrantee seller?  Sures sounds like a scam to me for our do not call list.

Obviously a telemarketer scum of some ilk or another. I ALWAYS answer the phone, whether I recognize the number or not. Then, if it is a telemarketer, since my number is listed on the National Do-Not-Call registry, it is GAME ON. First, I express interest in whatever they have, taking lots of time and asking lots of questions. If they ask for personal info like a CC# or email address, they get a phony one (I like to write the fake ones down, so I can read them back if requested. When the CC# comes back invalid, read it back and change one number, repeat as necessary, etc.). I try to get a name and address of the company, so I can file a BBB complaint ("Unethical Advertising Practices" - after all, they ARE breaking the law by violating the DNCR). Try to get them to mail you info, or, better yet, set up an appointment for when you know you won't be home. The object is to a) waste as much of their time as possible, and, more importantly, b) to make it very hard for them to determine when they have an actual sucker or just another Punquer-O-Da-Phoner. Try it, it is a REAL HOOT, and ultimately may help solve the illegal telemarketer problem...
