Fire fighter scam. They are not even calling from our county and claim to be calling from our fire house. I asked what fire house and they said our mailing address city but... we have no fire house here!!!
I just got one of these calls and they asked for cheques to be made payable to "MCFF". They said they were raising funds for the firehouse up the road from my home and i called them and was told they do not raise funding by telephone.
received a call into VM from this number and they were playing games by breathing into phone and talking in less than a whisper. I guess that is how they get their kicks when no one is home to scam.
