Who called from 3015315256

My husband received a text from a fellow that identified himself as Joseph Powell with a phone # of 302-414-2439.  The number was a text only #.  We are a dog training  business and "Mr. Powell" wanted to ship us 5 puppies to train.  My husband quoted him a price of $4000.  This fellow said that he was in the hospital and that he was being treated for lung cancer and was unable to talk and that is why his phone only accepts text messages.  He asked no questions about our obedience training, he just wanted to give us his credit card #.  My husband refered him to our business website if he wanted to pay for any services.  He actually did try to pay us.  The service that we use for our credit card transactions was alerted because he tried 3 different cards under 3 different names.  He is a persistent little fart.  He wants us to make a manual transaction with his credit card #.  Obviously, from the get go we thought that this was a scam.  I was just trying to figure out what he was up to.  I believe that had his transaction went through, that he would have either over paid us (requiring us to send back the amount that he over paid), or he would change is mind on the number of dogs and request a partial refund.  I am sure that the credit card #'s are either bogus or stolen and that he would have requested his refund be made by money order or to a different credit count #.  We would have not found out until after we refunded his money and would have been out whatever refund we gave.  He also used the e-mail [email protected].

I received a text from # 407-216-4695. He says his name is Wilson Ben. He is looking for personal training services. A couple months before I got a text from a 978 area code, it was different fellow named Steven Downing asking for personal fitness services. Both texts were asking if I accept cc payments. These scammers are still at it. I want them to get caught but seems like the FBI hasn't caught up to them yet. I'm happy I came across this thread.

[email protected] is still at it. Same bit for but for a roof replacement . Can't meet up because he's in the hospital..he shoots over credit card info, wants a portion put back in an account. Waiting on account info now. Credit card info already provided. You already know the rest.  Will be reporting this...

This guy "David Fox" has been texting me as well, with a 6316882975 NY Phone number this time. Something about him I just didn't trust from the start, wanted to do business, asked If I take credit cards, talked big money said he just bought a house... wanted me to do an install... didn't have the house yet, initial owner of the house wouldn't turn over keys because I only paid 85% payment of the property, wanted me to over invoice and pay prior owner the remaining balance....LOL... blah blah.... SCAM SCAM SCUM.... He provided me [email protected] as an email address to send an invoice to. He also provided a fake local address for a house that was for sale.... said was in the hospital couldn't talk.... I knew It was BS from the start. He may be associated with ebay ID norman828 from a transaction from a guy In NC who never paid for an item recently and we talked via text 8642450991 was his number which is SC? I don't know how he found me, but I hope  they find him/them. All the info He provided I immediately checked out on Google.
