Scammer. Called with very heavy accent, saying he's from Economy Services and that he can lower my debt. I asked where he got my # and he said from his marketing department. I told him to take my number off his list and he hung up on me.
I got a call from this number asking me how much I owed on the credit cards. And that he could get a freeze in the interest charges and reduce the amount by 40%. When I asked him to send me the information in the mail so I can look at it he got worked up. Asked me to 'get lost' and kept saying that till I disconnected. He had a typical indian accent and was trying to speak like an american.But I could clearly make out that it was some scam.
I am sure it is a scam because if it was legit they would first tell you that it is recorded for training purposes etc. This one had no such message. If you get this just drop the call and save yourself the time and effort.
