I asked the person if they were a current vendor, as they did not pronounce the name of person for whom they were asking correctly (heavy accent as well). When I asked for the reason for the call, the person told me I was very rude and no longer wanted to do business with us before hanging up on me. I looked up the number and found out it was a telemarketer after all.
I tried to call the number back, and I got a recording that it was an invalid number.
Same here. When I registered my business I put my husband as a partner but I put it in the wrong box so he shows as the main contact person. When someone calls here asking for him I know they got my number from a list of businesses in my area. When I told him he'd have to tell me why he wanted to talk to him to get past me, he said he'd just take the "position" elsewhere. The caller spoke with a heavy Indian accent.
