Ask this to give you the Fed TAX ID #. Each and every company had one. He will not be able to do so because it is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!
Has called my workplace for the last 3 days. Twice today. Claiming his name is James Anderson. Does not give a clear company name. Caller has a very thick accent. On 2nd call today, claimed that this was his last call and all he could tell me was good luck.
Same exact thing happened to me tonight. James Anderson was his name, said he was with "Legal Affidavits Office" claiming to represent US National Bank. I asked for the bank's # and he gave me a disconnected number (308-404-1520). I called the company he claimed I owed money to and they said I was the second person today to call regarding this same thing. They also said that they were not affiliated with that particular bank. He also had personal info about me. My bank, my ss#, etc. So I filed a police report and provided them with this info. before I filed the police report, I called "James" back to get as much info as possible so that I would have as much info for the police. I also let "James" know that I was filing a report. As soon as I said I was filing the report he hung up. Further, when i called back to speak to him, the gentleman who picked up the phone said that "James" was with attorneys. What BS!!!
