We call for mostly jewish non profits and everyone who works there is very polite and will do anything you tell them too including donations or having a name removed from the list.
Comes up on my caller ID as "Steve Gardner". I don't know a "Steve Gardner", so I don't answer. This seems to be the latest telemarketer scam: use a valid area code and a name to make it look like a real call on caller ID.
301-563-9578 is an unlisted number for Siegel Marketing in Silver Spring, MD. They are a telemarketing company, and a persistent annoyance with frequent calls. They even call on Sundays. I couldn't care less what they are offering. If you are a victim of these people, send your complaint to the Do Not Call agency. You can also scream and curse at them when they call.
They've been calling me daily -- including Sundays -- for weeks and weeks. Finally, I tried screaming at and cursing at them, and the woman I berated just said snidely, "We'll call you tomorrow!" They are really bogus, a scam to collect your credit card information, and should be treated like criminals. I don't know why citizens can't do a damn thing about these kinds of calls.
