Just got a call from this number, displayed as Healthstream. I didn't pick up. I wish the DNC registry actually worked!!! It's so frustrating. I actually got a call in the middle of the night or Sunday morning after a long night of working and it woke me up. The person on the other end really got an earful. I know its their job but damn!
Last night we received a call - this number came up on the caller ID as "Healthstream". My husband, who had been in the hospital recently, answered, and they wanted to conduct a survey about quality of care. They told him that they were hired by the hospital he had been admitted to.
I am a medical social worker, and as far as I know, it is illegal to be given the names of individuals who have been hospitalized! This is private information. This is why I think this is not a reputable business, to say the least, and they are not the great humanitarians they are presenting themselves as being.
There is NO LAW regarding a Healthcare facility to call and ask opinions of how you enjoyed your stay in a Hospital!!! I work in the Legal field and did research on this particular company. If a person tells you not to call back or remove their name YOU & HEALTHSTREAM ARE REQUIRED BY LAW to REMOVE THAT SUBJECT FROM YOUR LIST. Period!!! No we will call you back at a later time and if you continue YOU PERSONALLY & the company are violating the law and are subject to criminal action and a fine. AND the law states you must give your full name, Company name and information so the person can file a complaint.
