ID - Olazzo - Left Message that a relative had given my son as a personal reference and wanted to ask some basic questions. 2 minutes after that, he called my daughter-inlaw's phone (# varied a little) and said she had been given as a personal reference using my son's name as the person he needed the info for. He asked her for his former employer, how long he worked there and his wife's name; this is an UNLISTED NUMBER so she thought it was for real and told them. She immediately called the number he had left and tried to find out how they got her unlisted number. The number he left was an 800 number and they answered as PREMIER CREDIT-they couldn't tell her how they got the number. My son had not applied for any credit, not looking for a job and has good credit. No reason for them to call - didn't say who they were and when she called back she found out. I see there have been other complaints for Premier Credit. This is a new one. It is really scary to know that they can do this.
