People from this number call and leave no message...I would guess even though my cell is on the do not call list,they dont care .I never answer a call from anyone unless the name is on my list.
I got this call today. It is a company pretending to be federal agency offering home loans.
I tried to press 1 to get a live person to come on and immediately their line starting putting some kind of a dialing code on to my line. I hurriedly hung up and called phone company to stop anyone from slamming me, just in case that was their plot.
You won't get a live person on the incoming call. Report them to the Federal Do Not Call list if you get their call. You have to have signed up 31 days prior to receiving any calls before you can report them. But even if it hasn't been 31 days, if the call comes in on a recorded line, which it did, you can report it anyway.
I forgot to say that the reason I tried to get a live person was to request them to take me off their calling list. But there is no way to get a live person. Just hang up and report them. Don't try punching 1 or 2----it may allow them some access to your line. No one needs this kind of hassle.
