This peson goes by the name Investigator Paul Grossman and he says that there is complaints against me and that they could detain me...He call me brother from another state looking for info on me...
Guy called someone looking for my sister. He was asking for personal information. Whereabouts, phone number etc. Said it was important that she call him back because he could issue a warrant for her arrest. Said he was with a company called "Capital Investigation Services".
I also received a call from a guy name Paul Grossman at this same number. He first called my Sister and then my Father looking for me. He told them that I had 48hrs to respond or that a warrant would be issued and that I would be detained. I called him back. He's extremely rude and is basically calling about debts/collection. Though he says he's not collecting on a debt, that's pretty much what he's doing.
I also received a call from Paul Grossman. Said I was the point of contact for a name I didn't know nor have ever heard of. Said I had 48 hrs to respond or a warrant would be put out for me.
This makes me very nervous. I want to know how he got my name and my unlisted number
It doesn't matter. What DOES matter is they made an illegal threat under the FDCPA (and TCPA) against a non-debtor and you need to retain legal counsel and sue them.
