Brian Connor (heavy accent, NOT Irish) claimed to be from Xerox and working on a project with a CRM specialist. Since she wasn't available for screening, I offered to take a message, but he decided to try later. This number, which appeared on Caller ID, led to IBM. The specialist later said that she'd never heard of him and agreed it was a sales call. (7/27/15)
Man with accent and a bad connection, allegedly from Citibank, wanted to speak with a particular Customer Orientation manager. This sounded like the usual scam, so I put him on hold, then said the manager wasn't available and no, he couldn't leave a message in voicemail. He refused to provide any details for a written communication and hung up. (7/29/15)
