A man called and after asking if I could take a message since we weren't interested in lead generation, starting hurling insults and aggressive name-calling. He had a heavy accent and claimed to be from ELeads (eleads.com). After I hung up on him after asking him repeatedly to be nice, he called back from several phones with the same main line number, effectively tying up our lines and essentially holding our phone lines hostage until I interrupted my boss's meeting for him to speak to.
Same as others -- called, left just an unintelligible blip of a message. Like many other voice spammers, hoping for someone to answer in order to verify it is a working line, particularly if you provide name or any other identification. Your number is then put on a list sold to numerous other scumbags. Moral of the story: tough to accept this reality, but do not answer your phone if caller ID is unknown to you. Legitimate callers will leave a legitimate message you can return.
