Person speaking very poor English left a garbled voice mail insisting that I call back. Almost a threatening tone though the content was largely intelligible. No plans to return the call.
I got a call from this number stating they were the IRS and they were issuing an arrest warrant for me as I have been avoiding the $2,448 amount due for back taxes from 2011 - 2013. I told I did not receive any thing in the mail nor a certified letter. The guy said it was out of his hands he was signing the warrant for my arrest!!!! I tried to reason with him - no success!!! I asked him to transfer me to his supervisor and I explained the same thing & requested they provide me the paperwork and delay this action for 30-days so I could determine if I owed the money or not, if I did owe I would pay.
The supervisor disconnected the call. I called back and the first (804-298-1205) IRS guy said he did not want to talk to me and hung up on me. I called back several time and kept getting disconnected.
Both people I spoke to had a foreign accent & was difficult to understand them.
I am not sure if the call is real or not but sounds like a scam, hope so!
Sounds as though he is threatening you by constantly calling.
Your phone company is not going to do anything for you. You should take this phone number to your local police. You can't find out who he is, but they can if you complain enough..
Even if you don't go to the police you can write the federal bureau of investigations with this complaint. We all should. There is power in numbers. 303-351-5187
Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan, there is nothing the local police or even the Feds can do on these calls unless those governments co-operate with ours to shut them down.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
