It sounds like this is an overseas operation using Voice over Internet Protocol. This would explain the Maryland area code. My mother and childhood friend received a call from one of these operations claiming to be the IRS.
This is what I Confronted them with with today after about 6 or 8 calls from these [***] and then I told them I had goggled there number and that it's ll over the place that there defrauding people. That's when they hung up on me , so I called them again and they just kept hanging up.So then I called them from my cell and these is even funnyer I they asked me if this was the number they called me o
So accidently hit submit anyway I I told them yeah this is the number they called me on and that I just wanted to get this cleared up because the message they left me said I would go be arrested abf go before a federal judge. Lol so they said ok let's get your payment taken care of so I didn't get in any trouble all and buy the way I told him I was recording our conversation like my attorney instructed me to do, because he was to busy to contact them today but would be tommorw click they hung up on me again.hehe lmfao this [***] I told them I I done called the police and that I'd olike to get my hands on them because they were trying to ripe off my parents and I live with them and all the little old ladies they had been ripping off.
