Pretty much the same as the rest of the comments. Call was at 3:48am. Caller ID was Notify U. Google search says it came from a laurel MD landline. Did not answer. My crutches prohibited me from getting to the phone on time.
They called me last Thursday at 4:16am. Today I received 5 calls at 3:51, 3:53,3:56, 4:01, 4:11am. I believe it is connected to my child's recent registration in the PGCPS. The caller id shows the company as "Notify-U". Contact the Office of Communication with PGCPS if you have a child who was recently registered in the school system.
Just spoke with PGCPS, Office of Communication, and they are not connected with this company. Anyone please post if you figure out any additional information regarding this company and how to stop the calls from coming.
This is a notification service. The company my wife works for uses them to inform employees that, for example, snow has closed the facility or that a furlough day has been scheduled. I understand certain municipal and federal offices use the service as well.
