Who ever is the moronic idiot that keeps calling us 3 to 4 times a week from this number since last month, is undoubtedly one of the sickest jerks in the world. Because it is an instate phone number calling from Aspen Hill, Bethesda or Bowie but has their name blocked so it won't come through our caller ID as anything but out of area we WILL NEVER answer the telephone. The answering machine picks up the call and for about 2 minutes the message recorded is "some sick jerk" breathing on the line.
We tried tracking the number but get no further than the "location". I refuse to pay one red cent to find out who owns the phone number or any other information. We have reported each of the calls to the FCC and DNC Registry since our numbers are on the Registry. We are filing a report with the local police departments.
We do not answer any calls that block their names or numbers or ID that we do not recognize. We do not answer 800 callers either. In the past 5 years we have had perhaps 2 or 3 - 800 callers that actually left a message that were legit and we called them back. The rest, simply hung up every time they dialed our number and our answering machine took the call. I can guarantee you those were all spam organizations breaking the law and don't deserve 1 second of our time.
We have kept a detailed record of each of the calls from this number and if justice prevails, the information will help take these creeps down.
This number calls me also about 3 to 4 times a week leaves no message but same thing just breathing over the phone I have also been documenting all calls and will be contacting the police.
This caller is masking their true phone number, it's not this number that is listed as a Maryland phone...why is it legal for them to do it? It's highly deceptive. We NEVER answer calls from unknown numbers anyway. We are logging the calls as well and are contacting the FCC to file a complaint.
