The caller left a message that said, "My name is Kathy Davis and I am not a bill collector or a telemarket. I am calling about a case that was placed on my desk."
I got the same message as the above person ... the caller left a message that said, "My name is Kathy Davis and I am not a bill collector or a telemarketer. She did NOT say that she was a call about a case that was placed on her desk. But I know for a fact the HONDA FINANCIAL uses private companies who call themselves "investigators" to skirt the law about identifying themselves as bill collectors. These people are LIARS and will tell you all kinds of things ... like ... "I have filed a criminal case against you in a court of law." What [***]. People who cannot pay their car installments are NOT sent to criminal court. Or do they think we are idiots???
This is a private company that Honda Financial uses as an "investigator" ... who is really a "bill collector" but who will not indentify themselves as such. BEWARE that they will tell you all kinds of lies ... like they're going to file a criminal case against you. GUESS WHAT? People don't go to criminal court for not paying their car payments! <giggle> How utterly retarded.
