i noticed this number on my caller id and i called it back (they left no message) and it answered stating my telephone # and said press 1 if this is the # you want removed press 2 to remove another number. i dont know what it was about but probably somehow connected with what has been stated by others.
This number 301-882-9939 calls and hangs up, over and over. They listen to my answering machine message and then they hang up !! I'm, p o !! no name, no company name,i had to * 69 to get their number... I returned their hang-up call just to get a recorded message and they wanted my phone number, so I entered it, and the recorded message said my number had been removed from their calling list, I really hope so !!!! Scammer I'm sure !
