I Have been getting calls several times a day from this number i picked up the phone today and said stop calling because they are looking for someone other then me and they said i want to verfily your number to see if the woman im looking for lives there i told her she needs to get a life i just told you she doesnt live here this woman was rude.
irritating little buggers....funny part is that they hire the lowest pond scum to do their calling while people like you and I get harrassed over that $34.00 that we forgot to pay the paperboy 3 years ago!! haha
Misdirect is the name of the game. If you ignore them, they'll purposely call your cell in an attempt to cost you money.
Oh yes...and when they call on Sunday, on the cell.. (which always seems to be the case for my bf) tell them you're the Reverend "so & so" and begin asking them if they know where they'd go if they died today. :P
i keep receiving phone calls from this number at all times of day but no ones seems to answer so I just hang up. I just got this phone number so I'm assuming its for the previous people who had this #. Why the heck don't they pay attention to the NAME on the answering machine, then they would realize they're calling the wrong person.
Of all the responses I think yours is the most interesting. In all the phising scams and other tactics thieves use you yet have your name on your caller ID. My friends no my voice and know my number and that is all in this day and time needs to know.
If I were you I would change my answering machine to just say "Hi you have reached this number (don't give the number) leave a message and I will decide to get back to you!" and let your friends know what to do when they hear the message.
FORKING 8:00 a.m. my day off I was sleeping in!!! I got this call after reporting the other call that was from verizon I paid my bills on time they just want me to "upgrade" to less money in my pocket! what a spammy outfit they are notice how when they teamed up with yahoo there are ads in your email and on your home page everywhere. now there calling under anonoumuse numbers and using fake excuses to add perople to call databases. Heres some things I do to combat this kind of garbage and belive me its war.One if you move dont use adress changes from the post office 2 signup for do not call list in your area it does help some plus you can report these morons to them.3 get caller id and a digital answering machine.4 record the noise a phone makes when not ins service put that before your answering greeting and let your famly and friends know it's to fight the autodial machines telamarketers use.If you cant get the real sound for the answering machine then just screen your calls however when someone you don't know calls disconect it from the back of your phone that way if its a person or a machine it will think your number is not in service.also rant and rave about it on sites like this the donot call investigaters will see and one day take action hopefully, verizon and RPM should really reconsider screwing around like this with people eventually we will fight back how was the usa formed again by who?? WE THE PEOPLE!!
